Jude Bellingham’s absolute excellence helped Real get off to a great start to the season. But that doesn’t mean the club should depend on the Englishman. Both Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo failed to reach their full potential in the new 4-4-2 system.
Joselu did well and made a difference every time he got the chance. But at 33 years old, he is not a long-term solution. Despite his good performances, Carlo Ancelotti continues to leave the Spaniard out of the starting lineup in big matches.

Real still needs a classy striker.
Sooner or later, the club will need to add strikers for the long term. Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland are two prominent names that Real has continuously contacted recently. Most Real Madrid fans would be happy if the club could sign either of these players. But it seems Los Blancos are hoping to bring both to the Santiago Bernabeu.
According to El Chiringuito (via 90Min), Real Madrid is planning to sign both Mbappe and Haaland. They want to sign the Frenchman on a free transfer when his Paris Saint-Germain contract expires. As for the Norwegian players, they must meet the release terms with Manchester City.
It would be noteworthy if Real Madrid could sign both Haaland and Mbappe. They are expected to become the two best players in the world this decade. Of course, one has to start looking at Bellingham in that category as well.
