According to Dean Jones’ opinion, coach Carlo Ancelotti will be a perfect choice for Manchester United to appoint to the hot seat at Old Trafford, in case they decide to fire coach Erik Ten Hag.
However, Jones also confirmed that Man Utd still fully supports Ten Hag and is not considering any alternative candidates. British journalist said:
Ten Hag is under pressure.
“Ancelotti brings an air of sophistication, along with respect and reputation – all elements that Manchester United fans want to believe are traditional, characteristics that are embedded in the very nature of the club.”,
“Obviously, in recent years we have had difficulty realizing the identity of Manchester United. But Ancelotti has a clear identity, so I can understand why some fans want this scenario to happen.”
“I think in some ways, Ancelotti would be a completely suitable choice. But, Manchester United will not change coach anytime soon. Sticking with Ten Hag is their philosophy at the moment.”
