Henderson has just ended 12 years with Man Utd, moving to Crystal Palace, where he signed a 5-year contract.
Speaking in an interview with MUTV after officially leaving the Red Devils, Henderson wanted to thank the club he had been with for many years: “This club is everything to me. I left home at 14 years old. years old to pursue my dream of playing for Manchester United and fortunately, I was able to do that. So, it is something that I will always cherish and carry with me wherever I go.”
Henderson came to MU when he was a boy.
“I’ve been a United supporter since I was a boy. I grew up through the academy and loved the club. Obviously there have been ups and downs, but I have great memories here.”
“The dream of wearing the MU shirt and playing at Old Trafford, in European tournaments, FA Cup, Carabao and most importantly the Premier League, is something I really wanted to do since I was young. It’s a dream come true, it will be sad to leave.“
