Coach Mikel Arteta surprised everyone when he named David Raya in the starting lineup in Arsenal’s 1-0 victory over Everton. In fact, Raya did not disappoint Arteta’s expectations. The Spanish goalkeeper played solidly, keeping the home team’s net clean throughout the 90 minutes.

“To be honest, Ramsdale not being a starter shocked me. I find it difficult to understand. I don’t understand the reason behind Arsenal’s decision to change and swap goalkeepers. I don’t like the change in goal position when the defenders have to get used to the playing style of two different goalkeepers.”
Raya started the match against Everton.
“The question is who will start when Arsenal faces PSV in the Champions League? Both Ramsdale and Raya have never played on this playground. I think this is the key point to know who will start at this stage. next”.
“David Raya is a quality goalkeeper with a lot of experience. He wants to play. You can’t put a goalkeeper like that on the bench for a long time.”
