William Gallas commented that Arsenal still lack a really quality right-back, and coach Mikel Arteta should have solved this problem before entering the new season. The former Gunners defender shared:
“Simply, Arsenal still need a quality right-back. I will keep an eye on that area, they need to find a true right-back instead of a centre-back playing in this position.”
Arteta still lacks a classy right-back.
“With modern football you need a player who can move around the field, defend well and at the same time possess attacking qualities, make quality crosses and make the difference. Currently, Arsenal does not have that type of player. They definitely need a quality right-back.”
“There are good players that can play in this position, and that’s something you should think about before the season starts. Ben White can do that, but against the biggest clubs, you need a right-back with the style of Kyle Walker. It would be great if Arsenal could have that type of player.”
