Neymar’s future is becoming a topic of much interest. Some sources believe that Paris Saint-Germain wants to find a way to get rid of the Brazilian star and has raised the issue with Barcelona and the top clubs in the Premier League.
Neymar moved to the French capital in the summer of 2017, in a record deal at the time (222 million euros). Since then, he has scored 118 goals in 173 appearances and helped PSG win 10 Ligue 1 titles.
Neymar is injured and has to miss the rest of the season.
However, with Neymar increasingly showing signs of age, plus constant injuries, PSG want to liquidate him to create a basis for implementing the plan to rebuild the squad.
But according to the prestigious daily The Athletic, Neymar personally did not want to leave. The striker born in 1992 thinks that he has built an image as well as a big voice in the PSG dressing room with Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi. Therefore, he decided to stay at least until the end of his contract (June 2027).
If that happens, Neymar will have a journey of the decade with the French giants.
