France U20 coach Landry Chauvin said: “It is important for us to have a friendly match and play against an opponent we have never met before. It is clear that there is a difference in today’s match. , but Indonesia is the host of the U20 World Cup 2023 so they can be our opponents next year.”
Indonesia U20 arrived in Spain on November 15 after about a month of training and competing in Turkey. Coach Shin said that this partly affected the team’s preparation time for the match against France.
U20 Indonesia has the next match against Slovakia on November 19. This is the team’s preparation for the U20 World Cup at home next year.
