Speaking after the defeat to Inter Milan this morning, coach Stefano Pioli admitted AC Milan had a bad performance, and things need to change in the second leg. The Italian strategist shared:
“We will try to do better in the second leg. I think they did better in tackles and second-ball contests. The game went badly, tactically. and spirit.”

Pioli is not too pessimistic.
“We have to start over with the attitude of the second half. We had a chance to get the game back on track.”
“We will have to show a completely different performance than tonight. For the boys right now it’s a disappointment, but there’s also a sense of turning things around in the second leg.”
This weekend, AC Milan will have a difficult trip to the field of Spezia, the team is engaged in the relegation battle and is hungry for points. However, it is expected that Pioli will still have to rotate the squad and put some key elements on the bench.
