The 21-year-old arrived at Old Trafford as a seven-year-old, going on to make two appearances for the first team. Mengi was loaned out to Championship clubs Derby County and Birmingham City, and has endured a lot injury during his young career.
MU has parted ways with many players they trained this summer, both sold permanently and on loan, Mengi will likely be among them.
Mengi may leave MU in the coming days.
