Having to admit defeat with a score of 0-1 at home against Napoli in the third match of the Champions League group stage, Union Berlin extended a series of forgettable matches. They have now lost 9 consecutive matches in all competitions this season.

David Datro Fofana disappointed in the Union Berlin shirt.
The disappointment is completely understandable. However, David Datro Fofana, a young player loaned by Union Berlin from Chelsea, had an unpleasant act. He appeared to struggle, ignoring head coach Urs Fischer after being substituted in the 70th minute of the match.. The Ivory Coast striker has yet to score a goal for the German team.
That’s definitely not the right way to behave. The 21-year-old striker had to apologize on his personal Instagram page. “After my behavior while off the field, I would like to apologize to the club, the coach, my teammates and the fans,” he shared.

He still hasn’t scored any goals for his new team.
“This gesture was not intentional and it does not represent my attitude, all of this happened because I was disappointed because I wanted to continue helping the team achieve positive results. We will continue to work and come back even stronger in this great tournament.”
Talking after the match, coach Urs Fischer also admitted that he would have a private conversation with David Datro Fofana to help the young player overcome his disappointment. He clearly still has a lot of work to do with the current Union Berlin.
