Efekele has yet to make his debut for the Principality’s first team, but has shown great potential to attract the interest of many clubs across Europe. The French U20 international has been compared to Mbappé, who also grew up at Monaco’s prestigious La Diagonale academy.

Efekele is likened to the new Mbappe.
Efekele was even coached by Mbappé’s father Wilfrid while at INF Clairefontaine and also played for Bondy before joining the Principality club. Like Mbappe, he is a wing striker, but can also play well in the middle, thanks to his speed, technique, and superior finishing ability. This season, Efekele continues to play for Groupe Élite – Monaco’s youth team, but has regularly trained with his seniors in the first team.
Efekele’s contract with Monaco expires in the summer of 2025. And from now on, Chelsea has plans to recruit the 19-year-old striker. According to Foot Mercato, besides the Blues, Valencia, teams in the Bundesliga and France have also put Efekele in their sights.
