Malang Sarr is one of the elite products from OGC Nice, he was promoted to the first team of the French team in the summer of 2016. After 4 successful seasons here, Sarr decided to move to Chelsea to find personal development opportunities.
However, the 25-year-old player’s journey in the foggy country did not go as expected. Sarr struggled to find a starting spot and only made 21 appearances.
Last season, he was pushed to AS Monaco on loan. However, the Ligue 1 representative refused to activate the buyout clause. Since returning to Chelsea, Sarr has not had a chance to play.
The 25-year-old star is not in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans. Therefore, in the January transfer window, Sarr plans to move to Le Havre and is willing to reduce his salary to join the French team.
However, according to sources from Josue Casse, Chelsea blocked this deal.
Sarr’s representative opened negotiations to convince the Blues to terminate the contract with his client, but they decided to object. Therefore, the former Nice player must wait until the summer market to decide his future.
