Isco was once one of the most talented players in Spanish football. However, towards the end of his time at Real Madrid, he suddenly lost himself. In the summer of 2022, Isco was forced to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.
Isco quickly joined Sevilla in the hope of regaining his form. However, the situation only got worse. He appeared in 18 matches, scored 1 goal and his contract was soon terminated by Sevilla after 4 months.

Since then, Isco has been unemployed. Fortunately, in the summer of 2023, Real Betis will host this talented midfielder. And this is considered a wise decision. He is in incredible form and is considered one of the best players in La Liga after 13 rounds.
As part of the terms of his contract with Betis, Isco will automatically have a one-year extension activated if he plays 25 matches and he is getting closer and closer to reaching this milestone. However, it seems like that won’t matter anymore as he is about to sign a new contract anyway.
According to Marca, negotiations are going well between representatives of Isco and Betis an agreement that runs until 2026. This will secure the 31-year-old’s future at Los Verdiblancos for the time being and avoid any potential interest from other clubs.
