Sancho joined Man United from Dortmund two years ago for a fee of £73 million. The winger couldn’t have been consistent during his time at Old Trafford. And recently, he has been linked a lot with the Bundesliga team.
Mail Sport revealed last month that Sancho was among the players United would consider selling if the right price was received, around £45m. This is the amount Dortmund is not willing to spend.
The black and yellow team will ignore Sancho, and turn to Weston McKennie. They are said to be I really want to sign a contract with the American player after watching him develop in Serie A and the Premier League.
McKennie has returned to Juventus after his six-month loan spell at Leeds United ended. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, negotiations between Dortmund and McKennie are progressing well. Besides, the German giant also believes that they do not need to sign Sancho because they already have Julien Duranville. Dortmund are confident in Duranville’s abilities next season after signing the 17-year-old youngster on a long-term deal last season.
