This week Serie A was overshadowed by the news that Paul Pogba tested positive for a banned substance in a random test after Juventus’ victory over Udinese on August 20.
There has been information that taking/using dietary supplements in the US without consulting Juventus staff gives the club reason to terminate the contract with the French midfielder.

Paul Pogba’s contract may be terminated by Juventus.
And now Juventus Director Cristiano Giuntoli has spoken out on DAZN, quoted by journalist Fabrizio Romano.
“It’s an unpleasant situation, we will wait for critical analysis and tests then decide together with the player’s representative what to do,” Giuntoli said on DAZN.
This reaction appears to add to speculation that Juventus are preparing to terminate Pogba’s contract, blaming him for failing a doping test, which could lead to a two-year ban.
Also in a conversation with DAZN, Cristiano Giuntoli answered a question regarding the recent move of former Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci, who publicly insulted Director and coach Max Allegri for being forced to leave the club.
“We don’t like to talk about things outside the game. We believe we have treated all players and all team members with respect.”
