The former Manchester United striker reacted angrily after being substituted in the 2-1 loss to South Korea – much to the displeasure of manager Fernando Santos.
Things took a turn for the worse for Ronaldo when his replacement, Goncalo Ramos, scored a hat-trick for Portugal as they beat Switzerland 6-1. However, they were still eliminated early and CR7 was considered unable to win the World Cup in a player’s career.
Ronaldo often has to reserve the last time.
