Raul admitted that he was impressed with Jude Bellingham right from his first training session at Real Madrid, so he was not too surprised to see this player explode. The Spanish legend shared:
“It’s not that I’m surprised, but yes, it’s a start that no one could have imagined.”
Raul praises Bellingham.
“I know Bellingham from before, but looking at him from a close distance and the things he does on the training field… I think Bellingham is a player with personality, talent and he has won the love and admiration respect of all Real Madrid players, as well as the football community. I think, many people were very surprised about him.”
“I loved Bellingham from the beginning. I liked Bellingham’s debut, the way he talked and understood others. I coach players my age, and Bellingham excels in many ways. It’s true that he’s scoring more goals than we expected, but I think he has all the qualities.”
“Bellingham knows how to handle the ball, create assists, work hard for his teammates and score goals. Currently, he has integrated and adapted phenomenally.”
