Jude Bellingham has completed a move to Real Madrid with the Spanish side agreeing a €133.9 million deal for Borussia Dortmund. Real overcame competition from Manchester City and Liverpool to win the signature of the 2003-born talent.
However, Bellingham is still adamant about seeing Madrid as his favorite destination despite moves from two Premier League clubs. Sharing the reason behind the decision to dock at the Bernabeu, the English player broadcast during the club’s launch, quoted from Metro:
“First of all, money is not an issue for me. I don’t think about money at all when making decisions about which club to join. I play football for my love.”
“I spoke to everyone with the permission of Borussia Dortmund. I spoke with Juni Calafat, Madrid’s director of recruitment, spoke with Jose Angel Sanchez, the CEO of Madrid, and I liked the feeling I felt. obtained from the club”.
