Being ‘untied’ at MU, Lingard was tempted by the Premier League rookie

Lingard left MU last month as a free agent after 11 years with the Old Trafford team. The 29-year-old scored 35 goals in 231 appearances for the “Red Devils” and also impressed during his loan spell at West Ham for the 2020-2021 season.

Lingard decided to leave MU last month

According to the Guardian, a return to West Ham has been rumored, but Lingard’s side have been baffled by Nottingham Forest’s offer of a one-year contract worth £200,000-a-week.
