The Premier League has identified the first team to be relegated this season: Southampton. The 0-2 defeat to Fulham became the end of The Saints’ hopes of relegation. According to the foggy press, many stars will leave Southampton in the summer of 2023.
James Ward-Prowse is one of them. The current contract between the 28-year-old midfielder and Southampton will expire in 2026. Daily Mail reports, three A teamsston Villa, West Ham and Tottenham desire to own the signature of the Three Lions player.

Last year, Southampton turned down an offer of £25m from Aston Villa. However, that scenario may reverse in the summer of 2023. Southampton need to cut Ward-Prowse’s salary (£100k/week).
At the same time, it is difficult for Southampton to keep Ward-Prowse. Joining a club playing in the Premier League became a logical move for the individual midfielder in 1994.
Ward-Prowse has been with Southampton since making his first team debut in October 2011. He has made more than 300 appearances for The Saints. Foggy fans likened Ward-Prowse to the 2nd version of Beckham in the Premier League.
