Central defender Matthijs De Ligt believes that Bayern Munich will face many difficulties when they have to play at the RAMS Arena of the home team Galatasaray in the third match of the Champions League. The level of enthusiasm coming from Turkish fans is not an easy challenge for any club.

De Ligt believes that the confrontation with Galatasaray will be very difficult.
“Galatasaray always receives absolute support from fans. This makes it difficult for opponents. They have extensive experience, many good players have played in top tournaments. I expect a difficult match coming up”, De Ligt shared.
The Dutch midfielder also mentioned his difficult start to this season. The former Juventus player did not receive trust from coach Thomas Tuchel. But now, only he and Kim Min-jae are the two healthy midfielders in the current Bayern Munich squad.

He is no longer used by coach Thomas Tuchel.
“As a football player, you always want to play. The start of my season was not easy, I got injured. I have recovered and hopefully I can help the team. I feel good, I played 90 minutes in the last match, which was good. I’m not completely pain-free yet, but I think that’s normal.”
