British media reported that Arsenal is likely to enter the winter transfer period with a plan to strengthen the central striker position. And in the opposite direction, it is expected that a few players will also stand at the door of leaving the Emirates.
Typically the case of Jorginho, who is still considered a secondary factor in coach Mikel Arteta’s plan with only 2 main starts since the beginning of the season. However, the Italian midfielder is still being watched by a top European club, more specifically Barcelona.

Jorginho could go to La Liga.
It is known that Barca has long targeted Jorginho as a potential option to strengthen the midfield, and they plan to recruit this midfielder in January. Notably, revealed from TeamTalk, if a suitable offer is received, Arteta is also ready to say goodbye to Jorginho in the upcoming market.
Currently, Arsenal is in control of Jorginho’s future. Although the contract between both sides will expire at the end of the season, the Gunners can still activate the option to extend for another 12 months.
