Barcelona is preparing to launch another prodigy to prepare for the future, with their newest recruit coming from Mali.
According to Jijantes, 16-year-old Ibrahim Diarra has agreed to join Barcelona in the summer of 2024 when he turned 18. Currently captaining Mali at the U17 World Cup, Diarra can play as a creative midfielder or on the flanks.

Diarra is the captain of U17 Mali.
He will join Barca from Africa Foot Academy. The youngster will join Mikayil Faye and Noah Darvich as teenage talents Barcelona have signed up to hopefully become first-team stars in the near future.
It was reported that after Deco was appointed earlier in the season, he would direct the team’s recruitment department to try to attract young talent before other big clubs approached them, as was the case by Faye. They have now made another similar move for Ibrahim Diarra.
