Aller, 15, was trained separately with number one goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the latest training session. This young talent joins Barca from the Cultural Leonesa academy team in 2021 with the expectation of more training. Cesar, Aller’s father, admits that in the past, no club could guarantee his son’s 35-hour weekly training session.
A few months ago, Aller said: “Signing with Cultural Leonesa means a lot to me, but the goals of the club are small. That’s why I decided to stop and look for better places. Right now, I feel like I can become a famous player in the future.”
Aller is not the first young player promoted by coach Xavi to train with the first team. In September 2022, another 15-year-old player was also called up by the former Spaniard, Lamine Yamal. This young talent has a knack for kicking a striker and is left-footed.
In October 2022, 6 young players including Marc Casado, Chadi Riad, Txus Alba, Victor Barbera, Pelayo Fernandez and Roman Vega were called up by coach Xavi to prepare for the match against Celta Vigo. At that time, Barca needed more troops for the training session when Jules Kounde, Ronald Araujo, Hector Bellerin, Andreas Christensen and Memphis Depay were injured.
Barca suffered losses before the El Clasico match on March 20 when Pedri and Ousmane Dembele were absent due to injury. Currently, the Camp Nou team leads the La Liga rankings with 9 points more than rival Real Madrid. As long as they do not lose in the confrontation at Camp Nou, coach Xavi and his students will continue to hold a great advantage in the La Liga race this season.
