Juan Miranda’s future at Real Betis has been a subject of much discussion in the past few weeks. His current contract will expire in the summer of 2024, and although renewal negotiations are already underway, Miranda’s departure is likely to happen.
AC Milan is considered a strong candidate to recruit Miranda and they are preparing to make a pre-contract offer in January, with the goal of bringing the La Liga star to Italy after this season. However, Milan will have to fend off interest from Barcelona.

Barcelona wants to sign Miranda as a backup for Alejandro Balde, in the context that Marcos Alonso is expected to leave when his contract ends next summer. At this stage, Milan still have the upper hand although Betis still feel that they can successfully extend the contract with the 2000-born defender.
