The Gunners had their worst performance of the season against the Blues, but still managed to leave Stamford Bridge with a point after a late comeback.

Leandro Trossard had an impressive performance when he entered the field.
Arteta’s team was 2-0 down in the 77th minute before Declan Rice took advantage of Robert Sanchez’s mistake to score into an empty net. Leandro Trossard was sent onto the field immediately afterward, and quickly scored his own goal in the 84th minute after a pass from Bukayo Saka.
Malo Gusto locked down Martinelli for much of the London derby, but couldn’t do the same against Trossard. Speaking after the match, coach Mikel Arteta said: “First of all, Leandro is very good and always willing to help the team. He had an injury and wasn’t fit enough to play in the last few matches. Leandro played against Man City and had to leave the field, but he worked very hard during the international break to get fit again.
Leandro had a very smart run, the way he anticipated the cross and made the decision was commendable, because it’s not easy to score in that situation.”
