Commenting on the opinions that Eddie Nketiah is not capable of leading Arsenal’s attack and helping the Gunners win major titles, Paul Brown believes that this is not a problem worth worrying about, because coach Mikel Arteta simply wants Nketiah to score every time he plays.
The British journalist shared:

Arteta always gives opportunities to Nketiah.
“I think sometimes people focus too much on Nketiah, because people don’t think he has what it takes to help Arsenal win the title. But, I don’t think that’s his role. Arsenal do not rely on Nketiah to start as a striker every week.”
“Arsenal just needs Nketiah to score when he’s on the field, and to be honest, he’s doing that. Arteta has always liked Nketiah, he has always been a big fan of this player. There was a time when Nketiah almost left Arsenal, he almost agreed to move to Crystal Palace, but suddenly found himself in the team and kept scoring goals.”
