Reiss Nelson is a potential player from when Arsene Wenger was still leading the team. However, with the outstanding maturity of Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka, Nelson does not have many opportunities to play as a starter.
Football Insider revealed Arsenal could will let Nelson leave on loan in January. It is believed that teams from England as well as a number of top European clubs were interested in signing the 24-year-old during the winter transfer window.
Arsenal does not want to sell Nelson outright, but is willing to let him leave, so the English player can have more minutes.
Coach Mikel Arteta rejected many offers for Nelson, before he signed a new contract with the Gunners last July. Nelson has not played much for Arsenal this season and has only played 87 minutes in the Premier League.
Football Insider also revealed that the Gunners are looking to sell midfielder Thomas Partey and Jorginho in the winter transfer window if there are suitable offers.
