Arsenal-owned striker Folarin Balogun ranks first in the French Super League for key goalscoring stats.
The Nigerian-born England U21 international is having a brilliantly successful season with eight goals in 15 appearances in Ligue 1.

Arsenal striker is playing sublime.
Reims scored a total of 16 goals from the start of the tournament. This means, Balogun’s 8 goals account for 50% of the club’s goals. This is the best ratio in Ligue 1, ahead of Lorient striker Terem Moffi (38.5%) and former Lyon teammate Alexandre Lacazette (37%).
Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are the two top scorers in Ligue 1 with 13 and 11 goals respectively, but they are not as influential as Balogun in terms of goal percentage.
While Mbappe accounts for 28.9% of the goals scored by PSG and is in 8th place, Neymar is 17th with a rate of 24.4%.
Currently Reims is ranked 11th on the Ligue 1 table. The ranking of this team certainly depends a lot on Balogun’s talent.
For Balogun personally, shining in France could help the player return soon and play an important role in the Arsenal squad, as was the case with William Saliba.
