Talking about the players that Arsenal are trying to liquidate before the summer transfer window closes, Dharmesh Sheth revealed that there are 3 names standing on the door to leave the Emirates. British journalist said:
“Other players Arsenal are looking to sell, including Cedric Soares, who doesn’t seem to be in the plans. So is Nicolas Pepe, he has entered the final year of his contract.”
Arsenal wants to get rid of a few more players.
“Until Declan Rice’s arrival this summer, Pepe remains Arsenal’s record transfer signing for £72m in 2019. If they can’t find a new place for Pepe or can’t agree. an agreement with another club, it is not ruled out that Arsenal and Pepe will reach some sort of mutual agreement on letting him become a free agent.”
“Those are two cases that need attention, and possibly Albert Sambi Lokonga as well. All of these players, we knew from the start of the transfer window that they weren’t really in Mikel Arteta’s plans.”
