Sharing on Talking Transfers, journalist Graeme Bailey said Arsenal’s technical director Edu is a “hard fan” of Bitello.
Bailey said:He’s a player we know Edu likes, I just think they have other goals in the negotiation, but he (Edu) still likes him a lot.”
Edu really likes Bitello’s talent.
“I think January will be remarkable if he hasn’t moved elsewhere, because we understand that there is interest from Turkey and Saudi Arabia.”
Bitello, 23, could be the player envisioned to replace midfielders like Mohamed Elneny or Jorginho, should they not sign a new contract.
Bitello is a Gremio player and could be the next Brazilian player to move to Emirates to play football. Previously, Arsenal recruited Gabriel Martinelli from a lower-class club in Brazil in 2019.
