Paul Pogba has currently been temporarily suspended from competition because he tested positive for doping. The decision was officially confirmed through a statement from the Italian anti-doping court.
The former Manchester United star failed a random test after Juventus’ victory over Udinese on August 20.
Amid the doping scandal, Paul Pogba received sincere words of encouragement from teammate Weston McKennie.
“He’s a close friend and teammate, so I hope the best comes to him,” McKennie said on DAZN.
Weston McKennie was chosen by coach Massimiliano Allegri to be in Juventus’ starting lineup to welcome Lazio tonight (Vietnam time) at Allianz Stadium, despite just returning from an international mission with the US team.
Meanwhile, Paul Pogba is not popular with Juventus fans, because of his limited contributions since returning to Turin last summer. Testing positive for a banned substance caused the French midfielder to receive a series of criticism from fans and the media.
