According to Voetbalprimeur, Marseille authorities have issued a ban on Ajax Amsterdam fans. They will not be able to appear in the stands at the Velodrome on November 30 to cheer on their beloved football team because of concerns about escalating violence in this city.

Ajax Amsterdam fans are banned from Marseille stadium.
A few days earlier, the Ajax Amsterdam club also admitted that they were not sure whether fans would be welcome at the match against Marseille. Dutch fans are banned from appearing in the city center and Velodrome stadium.
Not long ago, within the framework of Ligue 1, the bus carrying Lyon players was also attacked on the way to the Velodrome stadium. Even the coach of the away team, Mr. Fabio Grosso, had to cover his head with a bandage after being subjected to a rain of bricks and stones from Marseille fans.

The exuberance of Marseille fans worries local authorities.
In early November, Marseille city authorities also banned Lille fans from entering the stadium for the same reason. Preventing Ajax Amsterdam fans from coming to the stadium is a completely reasonable measure. This action is to ensure absolute safety for fans.
